Bliss - Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
Details:
Bliss
Bewitching Brews
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
Notes:
A shot of pure, self-indulgent euphoria! A scent that is very, very wicked in its own way: the serotonin-slathered scent of pure milk chocolate.
Well. It's chocolate. Aside from a very faint herbal note in the vial, there's really nothing more to this than rich chocolate all the way through. If you like chocolate scents, you'll probably like this one. If you don't, you definitely won't.
I wasn't overly jazzed by this, but I have been buying and trying a ton of chocolate scents lately and as much as I love them, I'm kind of over them for now. I need to put them all away and come back to them when the weather is colder. The sillage was medium - not crazy, but I could definitely smell it in the air around myself for quite some time. It lasted quite a long time - at least 7 or 8 hours.

I can definitely see why you wouldn't want to smell like chocolate in the heat! I am not a chocolate fan for perfumes, but I am always willing to try new scents; especially if there are other notes to even it out :) So I'm sure this one wouldn't be for me ;)
ReplyDeleteI never thought the day would come that I had overdosed on chocolate perfumes!
DeleteDoesn´t sound like I would like this onee, as I´m not a chocolate fan... I don´t even like eating chocolate that much...
ReplyDeleteI never ate chocolate much until I had Noodles. Then suddenly I loved the stuff. Weird.
DeleteAs far as BPAL goes a lot of their scents are brilliant and a lot are just average.
ReplyDeleteOh, I agree. There's a bit of an 'untouchable' mentality around their brand, where the devotees won't abide the slightest criticism. I like many of their perfumes, but quite a lot of them have ranged between "meh" and "omg get this crap off me now".
